Hello

I am a nurse practitioner in Washington who was diagnosed with POTS in my twenties. I have dedicated my career to helping others with POTS in their journey towards better health and quality of life.

My Story

Hi, I’m Kate Bachenberg, a nurse practitioner with a passion for helping people navigate the challenges of POTS and reclaim a sense of balance in their lives.

My journey into medicine is deeply personal. I was diagnosed with POTS in my early twenties after years of being dismissed, misunderstood, and told "it was all in my head." At one point, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to leave nursing school because my symptoms were so debilitating. But I refused to let that be the end of my story.

Over time — and with persistence, support, and a whole lot of trial and error — I found a path forward. I returned to school, earned my nursing degree, and eventually completed my doctorate to become a nurse practitioner. My experience as both a patient and a provider gives me a unique perspective, and it's become my mission to be the kind of clinician I needed when I was struggling.

I believe in listening deeply, validating your experience, and working together to create sustainable, personalized care. Whether you're newly diagnosed or years into your journey with POTS, I'm here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
